Complete except for some chips which have been mended in plaster.
Description
Kernos in form of a ring-shaped altar with projecting mouldings at its top and its bottom. Upper moulding projects further, and has grooved circles on its top and bottom. The exterior of each moulding has a frieze of white dotted eggs. Between the mouldings on the body is an incised vine with white overpainting. Above the altar, and attached to its lip, are four small pots with ring feet, globular bodies, and high out-flaring vertical lips.
Comments
Clay hard, fine, reddish brown (Munsell 5YR 6/4). Glazed lustrous black all over except for underside of foot.
